V8 seems too big to shove into this chassis, I guess they would need to get rid of the rear trunk space. I vote for the Audi i5 engine found in the rs3/ttrs. Has such a unique sound.

This was the same problem jb4 ran into and decided to not make one for the Mercedes A45 because they thought customers wouldn’t want to deal with it. But on the Emira, should be a lot easier to access the bottom of the engine.

I believe most factory turbo engines use a diverter valve which diverts excess pressure from the turbo (not really sure what the purpose is). I know the VW 2.0 engines use them and their line of 2.0 turbo engines have after market blow off valve pieces like the one from VW

When I test drove both, I thought the auto in the turbo was a lot more responsive than the v6 auto. I chose the turbo for future tune ability and the m139 engine is pretty stout. Never heard of major frequent issues in the Mercedes A43 or CLA forums. With that said, you can never go wrong with...

Bronze is my vote but it basically looks black after a week from all the brake dust. Maybe a matte copper color?

My order i4 should be submitted mid February and dealer is telling me it’ll still be FE so potentially i4 FE orders until mid February? Who knows 🤷🏽‍♂️

Lotus management never makes sense… that would be sad if true, I guess lotus doesn’t really want more customers and with the tariffs on their electric vehicles and Toyota not making the v6 anymore, the brand will be dead in the US

I’m just curious if we will still have first editions for order in 2026. I was told by another dealer that they still have build slots for v6s so maybe 2025 is the year of the v6s?

Gator Motorsport informed me that lotus is not opening up i4 orders until 2026 in the USA. Just trying to confirm with anyone else.

Was also told by my dealer that these colors would be available for USA too or at least he received an email about them. He also had pictures of the color sample discs which were more realistic versus these renderings.

Got a reply from nitron that the Emira i4 electron (edc version) in r1 and r3 version will be available soon and able to be preordered now. Sadly my car is still 4 months out.

Will Nitron come out with a version for the i4 version?
