Carplay volume glitches with driving directions

Just for your reference, not saying you should change phones - the same does not happen with Android Auto. The music volume is reduced during the "alert" but goes back to the same volume afterwards. So likely a Car Play thing not anything to do with the Emira software.

Android Auto interruptions with 2024 Emira

I've not had any issues with Android Auto and interruptions playing music. I've had a few odd bluetooth disconnections but if connected the music keeps playing. This is on a Pixel 7, using Symponium as the player.

    A polished knob

I did mine like this a week ago. I have the nail polish and remover left over - 99% left. If anyone wants to do the same I can send these on - just drop me an PM.

What did you do to your Emira today?

The knob was left in in place. It only took 5 minutes. I used a thin brush to paint in the indented decals, the nail varnish flows in well by capillary action it almost paints itself. Then with a bit of kitchen roll and nail polish remover removed any excess nail polish from outside the indented...

What did you do to your Emira today?

Coloured in the shift pattern on my gear stick as several others have done here. I "watered" down the nail varnish a bit to make it like a "wash" to allow the aluminium to show through the colour a bit. I now have black, red, yellow nail polish along with some (non-acetone) polish remover if...

    Tariffs on Emira in US?

Possibly you are trying to read to much into the reasons and economics behind these decisions. There is the chance he is doing it simply to gain votes, it's a good populist headline; "Bring Jobs Back To America".

Paint issues? Does Your Car Live in a Garage or Outside?

The only Emira I have seen in person with the issue had blisters all over the doors not just around a metal strip and also along both sides of the rear pillars along and below the First Edition badge.

US I4 (400hp) has fake engine noise pumped through speakers

I have to admit when I had a test drive in a UK i4 I didn't notice the engine noise particularly (got a V6 in the end). But the amp-on noise sounds really fake when you hear them back to back like that. And the non-amp engine noise sounds way better.

Where do you put your keys

Oh for sure - if you're a leftie you're entitled to swap your wallet pockets at least. To be honest - I'm kind of ambidextrous and swap around all the time - I have trouble knowing left from right without carefully thinking about it. It's been infuriating my kids recently as they are learning...

    Diamond Cut - Curbed Wheel

If it's not too bad and too deep you can do a fairly decent job yourself. it just needs spending a while with some sandpaper and some matching paint. Milltek 3rc Cat Delete - UK fitters?

No idea - both were done on my car before I got it. I'm the second owner. There was no documentation with the car so I spoke to Milltek and sent them some photos (great customer service from them by the way) & also had the car emissions tested at my local garage that I trust.

Milltek 3rc Cat Delete - UK fitters?

This is something I had been told too by Milltek. The 3rd cat is only needed for US export - not legally needed in the UK. Also I I double checked and had my Emira with the Milltek valve controller and 3rd cat delete checked for emissions; it was fine the the UK MOT and also London ULEZ.
