I have been out in a few V12 Ferraris and came close to buying an F12. This system seems to have achieved the same layer of resonance. Bit like how the last gen 5 cyl RS3 sounds like a V10 and just needed more bite. That is what Larini have achieved

Finally had the exhaust installed!!! Bell & Colvill did both parts for about 160 quid, around 90 minutes labour. Well... In short.... OMG!!! Fannytastic. I'd say it is 20% louder at low revs rising to about 50% louder at high revs where it sounds like a V12 Ferrari. I kid you not...

Cool. To get going a mobile fitter is just now sticking on some similar sized budget stuff then fitting on the proper tyre on Monday at my home. That works for me as have a track day on Thursday.

It's the LTS specific bit that will be hard to source.

They are still waiting on a final part needed from Lotus and will then be able to fit all of the items. They have at least fabricated all of those. I believe the part is related to the valve.

I can't blame any of you for leaving. I cannot defend the overall shambles that many have been unfortunate to come across. I had my updates check-in at the Lotus service centre. Passenger eatbelt recall done and a 2 hour software update. All good but I do need to go back for a further service...

I have no doubt the DCT will be the better car, just won't be as special. Either way, the car is still epic. I've asked Lotus for an i4 drive but nothing happening.

Just with age... the metals and components 'bedding' in. Car sounds great. I am still waiting for a date to fit the full Larini system. I am still excited by that prospect but the car sounds damn good anyway.

Yes. I have found the exhaust has improved and the stereo is better than it was. All bedding in well.
