    Everyone's Mod Priority List

In the passenger-side footwell is a panel that covers the fuse box. 4 plastic 1/4 turn fasteners, and then you have to wrestle a bit with the panel to get it out. Getting it back in properly is even harder - the bottom of it hooks into place in a channel that you can't see in the pic below...

Emira GRP Third Cat Delete Pipe and Milltek Active Valve Exhaust Control Install Video

FWIW, the GRP pipe fit perfectly for me. I compared it to the pipe it was replacing, and they were exactly the same size. No matter where you buy it from, you won't know whether it fits until you try to install it. Maybe just buy an expander that you can return if you don't end up using it.

What did you do to your Emira today?

Just carefully pop out the existing lights using a plastic trim tool, unplug them, plug the new lights in the same way and pop them back in. You can adjust the position of the logo shining on the ground by pressing gently on the lens with your finger while turning. It's a 5-minute job.

    Mounting Element fire extinguisher

I finally got around to mounting this. I just used some VHB tape on the stock mount. I made sure to mount it high enough so that if you move the seat all the way back it clears the shelf and doesn't get crushed. I also added a small bit of foam at the bottom to keep it from vibrating against the...

What did you do to your Emira today?

I bought the second one linked in my previous post (Lotus logo) in early December. No issues with the seller and they arrived in California from China in about 8 days. They fit perfect. They are very bright (almost too bright) and easy to adjust the position of the logo. This picture was...

    Mounting Element fire extinguisher

I have an e50 that I was planning on mounting to the back of the drivers seat but haven’t gotten around to it. I also considered mounting it vertically just below the slot where the drivers side seat belt disappears into the panel, but I think the back of the seat will be less visible and easier...

High delivery mileage on new order.

Yeah, I got mine through Galpin. No issues, MSRP, free extended powertrain warranty, the guys there were always a pleasure to deal with. It’s weird that the reports of dealing with them are at such opposite ends of the spectrum.

    10 Year/ 100,000 limited warranty from Galpin

I took delivery of my Emira from Galpin a couple of weeks ago. They included this at no charge. The maintenance...

I'm thinking about mounting mine to the back of the driver's seat right at the height that if I move the seat all the way back it will just clear the storage shelf. Should make it less visible but still easy to access in a hurry.

Emiras waiting for shipping to USA

The build sheet in the picture is for a V6 auto, so there definitely is at least one in there. And my VIN sequence number for a V6 auto falls between the VINs pictured. I suspect a lot of those are the V6 autos that were promised in the coming months.

It also matters because Lotus promised all the US V6 automatics and I4’s would be MY 2025. They sent an email to the deposit holders claiming this. So it would be good to know if they are sticking to their promise or just doing more Lotus things.

    Emira V6 Auto US/Canada Delivery

I was told by my dealer last week that US V6 automatic deliveries won’t begin until the end of the year. I posted about it in the USA/Canada deliveries thread. I’d love to see him proven wrong, but I’m not hopeful given the rollercoaster we’ve all been on these last few years.

There has definitely been a little toxicity towards those who chose automatics, but in general this has been a very welcoming and friendly forum.
