The AMG i4 engine looks like spaghetti… In fairness it looks the same under the cover of a CLA45s. Lots of electronics and cables with modern engines.
The turbo appears to be very close to the rear boot. It’s probably going to have an inch of heat and sound padding in the engine cover not dissimilar to a Cayman's engine cover. I'm sure someone will attempt to create a transparent cover for the i4.
