I'm also really curious to see how the Mongoose Plus performs.Would be very interested to hear how the Mongoose Plus works out. I believe there will be be a lot of interest in your results.
im very interestedHi all,
After a long process of logging, decoding, and testing — I’ve finally achieved full access to the CAN-FD data on the Lotus Emira.
This includes real-time values like engine RPM, coolant and oil temperatures, throttle position, boost pressure, torque, and much more — all directly from the M139 ECU and other onboard modules.
The potential here is huge:
- Build custom digital dashboards (track-oriented or minimalistic)
- Create logging tools for lap timing, telemetry, or performance reviews
- Monitor engine vitals in real time (great for tuned or track-driven cars)
- Even integrate smart alerts for overheating, overboost, etc.
One of the specific features I’m working on is the ability to control the exhaust valves via a dedicated button, independently of the standard driving modes.
I’ve already identified the CAN traffic involved in that action, but I still need to dive deeper before triggering it reliably and safely.
If you're interested in signal mapping, diagnostics, or working on Emira-specific integrations, feel free to reach out.
