It appears the UK paint warranty has changed from 5years to 3years. One screenshot from 9th October and the other today.

That will definitively be the case. What the warranty is when you buy it, is the warranty you have, no matter what they change it to subsequently. That also applies if they make the warranty better than when you buy it though
