Went on a road trip. Car earned some badges of honor. Gotta get a windshield chip repaired. :(. Hope they can repair it. Definitely gonna get the windshield film. The PPF on the paint did an amazing job. Glad I went with the thicker 10mil for the front end, a-pillars, and roof.

Man. This annoys the hell out of me. I don’t think it’s a bunch so much as a failure for the infotainment UI guys.
It frustrates me so much that I can’t touch and drag maps in car play. My 2017 Focus could do it.
Instead you have to try and move it with arrow buttons.
This has to be a...
Sad, they already started applying it and it has the cut-outs around the badges. I'll just have to live with it. Because of timelines for a cruise, I originally told them to do the cut-outs because I didn't know if they were bolted in from the back.
For everyone who had full body PPF. I am trying to find out for sure. Are the badges bolted in? Or just stuck on with double sided sticky tape?
Reason being, if they are sticky taped, then I'll have the PPF guys remove the badges and then have no seams around the badges. Then just put them...

The only reason I don't is it really doesn't save that much weight, and it does keep water that comes in from the lid from splashing down on everything.
I want my car back lol. I...
Dropped it off for a full body PPF since I intend to drive the crap out of it and don't want to worry about rock chips and other damage just from driving.
Full Body PPF.
XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS 10 on all forward facing parts and roof. Regular XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS on the rest of the car.
I won't see...
Welp, better or worse, it's at the detailer to have full XPEL 10mil installed for the bumper, hood, fenders, a-pillars, mirror caps, and roof. And regular XPEL ultimate for all other panels. 70% front windshield tint, and ceramic coating after PPF on the body and wheels.
ouch. $$$$.
I do...
I paid $500 for this skid plate for my Focus RS, and I can tell you a hell of a lot more design and material went into this one. The OEM Ford plate was a POS fabric based one. And would scoop up snow/ice during the winter, which caused it to deform and sit lower, scooping up yet again MORE...
