The rails on the OEM seats are integrated into the seat frame so you will struggle to make the seat lower by any alteration of the frame.

We did exactly that for someone with a McLaren. We sat a modified cut down B6 composite inner skin on the seat and it stopped the small lady from sinking too far into the seat. It didn't even need padding, Just the shape made it lift her and make it more comfortable.

We can do a matt version. It is a lacquered finish applied after manufacture. We do it for Caterham sometimes on their carbon.

I have not had that anyone suggest there is a seat belt issue. The unplugging of the wires does not cause a seat belt audible warning. When you have the resistor plugs they make them work as normal, warning you when you do not have the belt connected. The brackets we sell have had the relevant...
