I only use my Emira on the roads. It is hard to make people believe the comfort until they have used them but they are way more comfortable than the OEM cushions. I’m 64 with a medical condition that eats the bones away. Two hours in the original seats crippled my back. However, with my seats...
The warning lights are no longer on my car. I have the JUBU resistor plugs which work perfectly on my UK spec car and Greg says he has sorted it now too.
I'm not sure if my factory has done an ice grey set yet. but I cannot see a problem there. Leather colours are easier than Alcantara to match.
Come on Eagle, do the seats. I would lay money down that you find it makes way more difference to your driving experience than all the wheels, exhausts and light batteries combined. Every time the dealer gives me a courtesy car I hate it. You sort of bounce up and down on the cushions, the...
Has someone tried the JUBU ones in a US spec car? Because GRP's didn't work in the UK for the passenger side either but as soon as I put these in there was no problem. They also connect up the seat belt warning light so that all works too.
I have just fitted the JUBU plugs in my UK car and they work perfectly even for the passenger seat. We have just bought some in so we can sell them with the seats. The B10 XL will drop the head 100 mm should you need it to.
I have the solution now to the airbag lights. The resistors work and I put them in by just a battery disconnect prior to fitment. No dealer reset. keeps the seat belt warning too.
They are expensive though. I'm fighting with my son over the cost we have to charge.
I'm certain it's nothing to do with water. The company that makes them are trapping air when they compression mould them. The door handle feature is the problem and it stopping the air escaping. That why the bubbles are mainly leading from it or around it.
We would be happy to work with them to manufacture a Lotus product. We have approached them about it. I just think the car companies struggle with all the regulations now. So they go for a set formula that already exists.
I have had my seats in the Emira for two years, I pull one seat forward and put the bag through the middle. The problem with all the functions is they all add weight and with the split seat it compromises the shape, especially around the lower back. I have been racking my brain on how to do it...
Why don't you consider using our B10XL Emira styled seats. You would be solid in the car, up to 4 inches lower and the car would be 30 kg lighter if both seats are changed. There is zero comfort compromise. They are more comfortable on long journeys.
