Oakmere looks to cover ECUs but not the wiring, wiring looms are so damned expensive and Labour intensive. My Cayman caught fire and needed a new main loom, £9k for the loom plus god knows how many hours to fit, that and other items caused it to be a write off.

Wiring looms not covered with the Car Care Plan warranty, not sure with Oakmeres. I think both of us have had most of the things that could go wrong replaced, ECU, wiring loom, spark plugs, coil packs and ancillaries on mine replaced 1 yr ago.
