I definitely use seat covers after any sweat inducing activity. I think it’s well worth the precaution.

if you get ice grey definitely do ceramic coat on the interior. It works. I had pretty much the same color interior on my Audi and with ceramic coat had no issues keeping the interior clean. Everything wipes off, no color transfer.

Don’t worry too much. Backing up onto those racing ramps is pretty difficult to do since you don’t want to give too much power but need to move the car. You’ll get better at it!

Interesting. I didn’t realize the position of the engine relative to the rear axel was fixed. I assumed you could move the engine forward without moving the rear axel but that they didn’t to save engineering costs. Sounds like there is an engineering constraint.

Yeah I would have preferred moving the engine forward and increasing the size of the trunk. Better weight distribution. Probably lose some storage space overall. But now that I know how hot the trunk gets it is actually useful to have some storage in the cabin.

For the truly paranoid you can roll the windows down after a wash so any remaining moisture has plenty of room to escape.

It's just about if you want to keep your car pristine. If you want to keep it forever and keep in best condition possible, PPF makes sense. You should try to get all edges covered, not just for looks for the durability, less likely to start peeling off. If you're only planning on keeping the car...

you definitely can't rush the OEM shifter. The throw is too long and notchy so it's difficult to rev match quickly. It's a more deliberate shift. When driving fast I felt like throttle was on, then off to shift, then back on the throttle once in gear. With the short shifter I can really stay on...
