Yeah I don’t see any need for these SW updates. Maybe Eurocar just updates all emiras to the latest SW and isn’t selective about it. Would kind of make sense.

No. Lotus didn’t make any of the transmissions just lifted them from other manufacturers. The AMG engine came with DCT, the v6 with auto. If Toyota made a DCT for the V6 we would have got that. But no lotus is not investing in any sort of custom transmission. DCT would be stupid expensive to...

I would not do it. I don’t care for a typical commuter car but with low profile tires you need either guys that deal with this stuff regularly or have special machines that prevent scratching the wheels. And then there is balancing the tires.

Velvet sidewall? I never knew such an option existed. I was very happy with 4S in the past for performance look and comfort.
