We just 3.6 swapped this vr6 manual Corrado that will be used in a marketing campaignIt is still a work in progress, but we started reassembly yesterday so I will post pics here as things progress. It still has the original 5MT so we’ll probably blow that up fairly quickly..

I love the sounds the 3.6 flat 6 in my 911 makes, but for me the secret sauce is the Audi TT-RS 5 cyl turbo sound.. I have never owned one, but when I hear that sound it brings back childhood memories of Michele Mouton blasting up the (then mostly Unpaved) pikes peak hillclimb.

I am going with touring… I can tell the car is not going to be low enough for my tastes In either flavor. I will likely just bin the oem bits as soon as KW or Ohlins or the like give me a better option

Haha. I have the 1GR Fe in my 2017 4Runner.. which is exactly why I ordered an I4! I love my Toyotas (my wife also drives a 100 series Landcruiser) but the v6 in my 4runner sounds like a broken sewing machine. Plus the M139 tuning aftermarket will be better in the long run I imagine..
