I would not put it past Lotus to have made all i4s from the beginning 400hp and not told anyone! O guess the question for those who are seeing 400hp after an update is does the car feel 40hp quicker!
Just floored the loaner I have (it is now run in I have had it so long!) topped out on the graph at 360 with the bar all the way to the right and would not go above so it looks like yours is definately different... in a good way!
Unregistered does not mean new though, who knows when the car was built and how long it has been hanging around? Quite a while I would imagine since paint bubbling does not seem to appear right away.
As an i4 owner I am really hoping it is fixed!
Are you saying you cannot physically rev it above 5.5k before 400km? If so that is the first I have heard of it (I have an i4 so genuinely do not know about the V6)?
Thanks. So just to clarify, if you start the car and the handbrake is on you can drive off (forward or reverse) without having to push the handbrake forward?
Sadly it would be a very lotus thing to do though. I have just reserved a car that is new in stock from Colchester and the 360hp thing did give me pause. I do wonder though if the uk cars have been running the 400hp mp all along and they have just been downgrading the numbers to differentiate it...
I do wonder if they have updated it as I noticed no lag, certainly not .5 of a second between pressing the paddle and it changing. Maybe I am just not sensitive to such things?
