Even the new Toyota itself is "only" $200k (EDIT: ~225k, my bad)... A 650hp V8 Emira could go for $160-180 to compete with Porsche, perhaps?

Reviving this old thread with some complete speculation... Could it be they're looking at the new Toyota twin turbo V8 that was just introduced with the Toyota GR GT? Going with a brand new engine that will be in production for many years to come makes sense to me... what do you all think?
