I have tracked a v6 auto, didn't go into limp mode, temps were in the 70-80's, didn't do really long sessions but it's road Atlanta and its looooong back straight. I also had a bad bank 2 02 sensor as soon as I drove off the lot. :( Changed it before track day.

Real world data from Road Atlanta track for a stock auto V6: 49.2 - 74.4 took 2.80 seconds 49.2 - 73.9 took 2.70 seconds measured at 10 Hz with a Dual GPS and Harry's lap timer. Got me interested in 50-100 times: 7.2-7.3 seconds.

I bought the reusable stickers from clubregistration (you're right, magnetic won't work), and they worked well and removed easily enough. I don't think they'll be an issue using them a few more times.

Braking zones which require non-maximal braking are the issue, ones where a longer/gentler brake is better for weight transfer and lap times. Not a tire issue, it's the same through the session, and since this was open pits it was easy to go in, lower pressure, and head right back out. Caymans...

Road Atlanta - 1:43.5 V6 automatic sport/cup2, PFC 08 pads, Castrol SRF fluid, otherwise stock. Tires worked best at 30-32 PSI F, 32-34 R First track outing for Emira, previous best is a 1:42.X in a modified 987.2 Cayman S on RE-71RS/AO52. Will post more in the track impressions thread.

I plan to attend Jzilla's open track day Sunday May 18. Anyone else? I highly recommend open track days for anyone who's an experienced intermediate 1 or above, even though it costs a lot more. The freedom to come and go as needed and lower car count makes for a much less stressful day and more...
