So Cal PPF installers and customer experiences

PFS definitely does paint correction and depending on the level needed (L1, L2, L3), it could cost more. My car was in pretty good shape they told me so it only received Level 1 (basic) correction, which was included in their orginal full PPF quote to me.

So Cal PPF installers and customer experiences

Yep, exactly. Per guidance I received from PFS directly, I told Eurocar no paint prep/buffing/polishing of any sort. It may have been washed as was pretty clean when I picked it up. I think that’s ok because a completely unwashed car may be harder to spot any issues at delivery. Drove it home a...

    Emira weight distribution

I guess you’re right but I’ve never felt a 6 speed manual as tight as the Emira in any truck I’ve ever driven. I suppose linkage plays a big part in that. What truck?

    Emira weight distribution

Sorry you’re right, “normal” in my brain was it was longitudinally mounted and rear wheel drive in the Camry. Just Google’d it and yea, duh, it’s transverse and front wheel drive so I guess a similar config for the Evora/Emira. My bad.

    Emira weight distribution

Thanks for that explanation, as I’ve been wondering how a transverse engine actually connects with the wheels. So if I understand correctly, the engine itself can be basically as it is from Toyota (out of a Camry) but it seems the transmission would have to be either full custom or a...

    Will you buy one today?

Whoa these stores are sooo funny and familiar! 20 years ago when the object of my car obsession was the Elise S2 my wife said to me “I’m so sick of hearing you go on about this car just go buy it already”. After picking myself up off the floor I wondered if I had really heard those words. But at...

Seneca Blue Lotus Emira Photo Thread

Curious as to why you chose black PPF on black rather than clear PPF. Is there a difference in the look or the wear (or something else)?

Seneca Blue Lotus Emira Photo Thread

It's a tough one for sure. This side by side may help. For me, once I saw both of them in person, I loved the paint color and metallic so much, I decided I wanted to see as much of it as possible, on the roof AND on the side mirrors. From inside the car, the only color you can see normally is a...

What car is more beautiful than an Emira?

I absolutely fell in love with the S1, mostly for its curvy baby Dino looks. But I do believe next to the angular S2, it just looks “cute” as opposed to the more aggressively styled S2. The S2 style didn’t appeal to me right away but grew on me and now I like both for slightly different reasons...

What car is more beautiful than an Emira?

Agreed! Which is why I almost bought this car when I knew I couldn’t afford a Dino and lost hope the Elise would ever come to our shores. Even mimics the curved rear window of the Dino.

    Emira weight distribution

Thanks for that support! It actually got me thinking about other transverse mid engine cars that I know of and looking for pics. First one was the V6 Fiero (yes, it seems slightly to the right). Next was the massive V12 in the Miura. Just CRAZY that this engine is transverse, but yes, from the...
