Last time I was there is was 30 euros a lap but 2000 for unlimited laps over 1year. A local guy I met used to drive from work, do a lap or two and then drive home. Nice!

i was at McLaren/Lotus dealer in Bracknell. I asked them what courtesy cars they had, one was Toyota Corolla (imagine that after dropping off your £200k McLaren!). They said that courtesy cars are just too expensive to run.

Is the Emira ok with std brake fluid? I always put race level fluid in my previous cars but won't be tracking my Emira much so don't want to bother changing it

God I'm not. Many have tried to make an EV handle well and have only succeeded in making an EV handle well for an EV. There's little you can do when there is so much mass. The Tesla roadster probably felt like a tank compared to the Elise. Plus, as we're seeing, no-one wants and electric sports...

Also, don't forget, most other manufacturers are having the same issues and many are far larger than Lotus' issues. The fact is that it is tough for everyone right now and changes at Lotus are just responses to this. With the Emira, the car was in a transition period in 2025 and the US growth...

I don't tend to drive mine in the winter, not because of the weather specifically but because cold, wet miserable weather is just not conducive to enjoying my driving. However, I was talking to a Ferrari 458 owner last week and that is his only car. He uses it a proper daily, going everywhere...

To add, interest rates are now normal for all loans in the UK and on my £70k car the interest, even with a big deposit, was £13,000! Incredibly I managed to pay £70k and get 0% finance but I just couldn't have swallowed £13k in interest. Nice to see it's still worth about what I paid a year ago.
