I'm in New England and yes, I could refit the stock intake. The latest auction on C&B was $95 to the seller, $99.75 from the buyer, with the house taking the difference. That seems to me a reasonable ballpark for current valuation.
Hi! I'm selling my Emira. I have an Evora GT and the plan was never to keep both long term. My reasons for choosing the GT over the Emira amount to personal preference - things like the utility of the rear seats. It's an amazing car all around and tops everything else in terms of looks...
Being an GT and Emira owner, +1. It's strange to me how many (especially early) reviews made out like the two cars are near twins when this is very much not the case. Sure they're very similar in many obvious respects, but they are also different in many. In part I think the many small and...
Mostly same page but a few differences for me. I currently have an Emira and a GT. Long story short I placed an early Emira order and bought the GT during the ever expanding delays. My plan was never to keep both cars long term but decide which suited me best. The answer is: GT. Arguably...
Not sure how I missed this. Very interesting to compare notes there. I have put a few miles on since I wrote this post so I'll have to pay a little attention and see if I can determine whether things have changed a bit by the seat-of-the-pants-ometer. To answer your question, the dyno runs...
Ok, mission finally complete. I took the Emira back for new runs before and after Eventuri install. I asked the operator to include the best run for the Evora GT, and the before and after runs for the Emira. Some very interesting results and some additional observations from the dyno shop...
If the torque was very /very/ flat then we'd expect that peak (333) to be predictive of peak HP. But in this case peak HP is reflective of the torque (300-320 ft-lbs) delivered at higher RPM (~6250).
Entertainingly, I was the one running it through its paces and I can attest to having it...
I assume you mean peak torque to peak HP? (Otherwise hp is just proportional to torque*rpm). Peak power is maybe a little higher than I expected. Very keen to see how the two cars compare on the same dyno and expecting the Emira not to have as strong a baseline as the Evora if my seat/pants...
Quick update. I took my bone stock '21 Evora GT (~5k miles) for a dyno run (or 3)...
A few notes about these runs which were in the order listed: red, blue, green. The measurement was from the tire, not from the axle as in @Eagle7's case.
For the first run, the car was in race mode. For...
I'm encouraged by some of the reports, here. I just visited a local dyno shop today where I'll take both cars for a baseline once the heatwave breaks. It sounds like air flow may be a big bottleneck and the Eventuri sounds intriguing. I may start with that and then see whether cat delete and...
Disclaimer: I'm lucky enough to have both a '21 Evora GT and a '24 Emira, so file this post firmly under "first world problems".
I've noticed plenty of differences between the cars - more than I expected - but the biggest downside to the Emira seems to be power delivery. I hope to dyno the...
