Did Larini ever get the manifolds and sport cats sorted for the Emira? I know they have them for the Evora but it seems to have gone very quiet for the Emira, despite them being very similar.

That was because they were using the Elise chasis as a test bed for the Evora though, so the parts already existed. The rear subframe of the exige V6 is that of the Evora.

Audi are also bringing the R8 back with a V8, potentially the one from the new Lambo, that would place the emira in a VERY challenging market sector

I cant see a V8 in the current gen 1 Emira. It would require too much retooling of the engine compartment and rear sub frame assembly. It would be a potential option for a gen 2 should it ever happen and given Lotus have an existing arrangement with Mercedes, might be possible and would help...

Whats the rebuild frequency with the Ohlins? They're the ones that I tend to lean towards. If I do swap out the suspension, I dont want to go too hard as I find the touring setup to be just about right for the UK roads. When I drove the sport, it was too hard and a bit crashy on bad surfaces.

The UK isnt in the EU so if the tariffs are placed on the EU, it wont affect the Emira.

I have checked but they dont feel damp. I've booked it in today for that side door to be replaced due to the blistering paint issue anyway so hopefully this will sort the seal at the same time.
