you are absolutely right, its hard to find a back to back video of 3rd cat delete + valve controller vs larini though. feels like I gotta take the leap or dont
i havent even seen an emira irl that has the larini set up
do you think the sound is going to be noticeably different if I add a Larini on top of the 3rd cat delete + valve controller?
its basically a (curvy) straight pipe already. I wonder how much different it could possibly make it. I dont know much about audio engineering. im not sure how much of a...
i have been pondering if I should buy Larini for a long time. currently i have 3rd cat delete- valve controller and it already sounds pretty great. i sure wish i could hear it in person
Lotus had their claws in me since the reveal in 2021. I was pretty committed to buying it no matter what. Though im sure glad i opted for the first edition.
my same spec now would be 115k vs 108k when i bought it
I think the driving experience will blow you away. its on a whole different plan of existence from a tesla
however if you get the v6, I think you may miss the instant torque because while I wouldnt call the Emira slow, its slower than any performance trim tesla in a straight line. on the other...
GRP pipe requires a new ring too dont forget. the others might too, cant say for sure but i would assume so

I did have push back. I got a check engine light 4 months after owning the car while I had the 3rd cat delete + valve controller. it ended up being a bad battery but I still had lots of back and forth with the dealer with them telling me i needed to revert it back to stock before they could...
it varies so much depending on the situation. before I installed the GRP intake (its very loud now, love it) the intake noise was drowned out by the exhaust noise most of the time. (3rd cat delete + valve controller)
however if I floored it while in a high gear low rpm, i could hear it very...
the valve is near closed when going slowly with the stock controller. So the valve controller makes a huge difference in volume and character while going slowly.
its also more oppressive in general. some might call it a drone. which i like but may get annoying to some. luckily you can close it...
I dont think revmonkey had race headers. he had larini + 3rd cat delete + maybe valve controller too
I have 3rd cat delete + valve controller and I can promise you it already sounds pretty close to that vid. that 3rd cat delete makes a huge volume difference
no need to even use the remote. you can use the homelink under the mirror. also it stays in whatever mode you set last. i have mine open 100% all the time and havent touched it in months
