Formally emailed 9 days ago after being told they couldn't accept via chat. Still no response. Sent a chaser today, will call tomorrow. I am more disappointed than sad that I am not regretting my decision.

Sadly I'm out for now. The price rise impact (and OTR costs) took it within a couple of Ks of the C8 I put on order when I got hacked off with the delays in summer last year (irony being I put the Emira deposit on after finding out what the wait on the C8 was). An opportune build slot...

I find it interesting that Endeavour Essex are selling their demo with 3.5K miles on it for above what it would cost to order than spec now (inc price rise). I mean, I've driven that car and would have been tempted at some level of saving beneath list, but this is one that will have been driven...

Whilst I understand the point, it would have more validity if the company in question hadn't explicitly promised they would not raise prices. If they had been silent on the matter, whilst annoying, it would be "one of those things". It is because they said they wouldn't that it could be classed...

So two weeks ago they change my build date from May to June and now they say that I'm paying a further X because my build date is in June. Lets not even bother with the time I've had a deposit in (Aug '21) and the Matt Windle "the price you pay is the price you were quoted at placing deposit"...

God those look so much better than the yellow on that setup. Personally thought full black pack cars should get those as standard. Will definitely get some for mine, if it ever arrives

On a sample size of two, I'd say they're acknowledging a universal 1 month delay. God knows what's going to happen when you're mixing not only transmissions but also engine types.

Well, I've just had my build "confirmed" for June (V6MT) via email I didn't prompt (which at least saved me a job). Last update in November was variously March, then June then May in the space of 6 days so it's only really slipped a month. Does make it less likely to be in time for some fun...

If I could change my spec it would probably be to something very similar to that. Looks great!
