I doubt a V8 will happen. For some reason Lotus has been caught off guard that US consumers don’t want a 4 cylinder DCT as the sole power plant. The 4 cylinder Caymans have always been a hard sell. It probably wouldn’t fit but a B58 would be killer in the Emira. The Mercedes euro 7 compliant...

Hopefully they’ll start back up shipping the US soon

Scary part on this go around is they are a much larger company so its harder for a group to justify grabbing them up. I hope things turn around because its a blast to drive!

This is why I was surprised of all the talk about a V8 after looking through the financials

I'm sure they will but Lotus will have to eat the increase, especially on i4's.
