We are well into 1st world problems (even top 5%) territory here but strictly thinking about product development and design, it always surprises me how many car manufacturers overlook the key as an important part of the user experience.

Harry probably did the most “in-depth” reviews of the Emira (including factory visit) but my favourite review was probably this one by Seen Through Glass.

Great video. Many probably seen it but given it’s so fresh thought worth a share. Personally I found it made me more proud to be part of the Lotus club.

Unfortunately not as I didn’t pay for it and formed part of the deal with my car at their cost. It was the first warranty set up. Sharing for anyone that wants to talk to a dealer that is is confirmed to be selling them

I now officially have an extended warranty for 2 years from the date the factory one expires. I’m not sure which dealers can offer it but I know Lotus Endeavour can for anyone interested.

As far as I’m aware, dealerships were being trained on how to sell the warranty last week. I’ll be chasing tomorrow as mine was going to be the first they produced but not heard anything yet. Will post if I get an update

I recently had to get mine towed after a non-start. There is no way of disengaging the park break without power. I had to get the recovery guy to take the back wheels off and “hotwire” the park break motors to release them - they just need a bit of power in either direction to wind in or out...

Exactly this. I used to work with a CEO/Founder who later in the game would just pass all customer emails he received on to me (as head of product) to deal with. The trouble was, I was usually swamped and getting back to all of them was near impossible and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t...

I managed to get 16 plants in it, plus a passenger. I was quite impressed… as were quite a few passer-bys.
