Congratulations and agree this forum is awesome. I dropped out due to price increase and delays but still follow the forum because it is so well managed. I bought an MX5 and unfortunately have not found an equally excellent forum for Mazda.

I wanted to give a shout out to Lotus of Orlando. I requested a cancellation and had my refund the next day. They were great to work with and I regret Lotus HQ ruined this deal for them.

Just got a call from the dealership and he confirmed the 12k price hike and more delays. Regrettably I just send an email requesting a refund and cancelled. This forum has been great and I hope everyone who sticks with the process loves their cars.

Hopefully that means your price is protected if you got to place an order. I’d still be in big time if I had got an FE slot.

My contract with lotus of Orlando says the deposit becomes non-refundable only after an order is place.

I agree. I sent an email to my dealership noting the price increase on the configuration website. If I don’t get any useful information by next Wednesday I’m canceling.

😆 you only live once, and sometimes not for a very long time.

For me it will come down to final price and production date. I’m trying not to obsess until prices are announced
