I may be wrong, but I am pretty sure that every Emira will be hit with the new luxury tax. Since they have now officially added the "written agreement" part, that should mean the actual final bill of sale (which no one has yet).

I agree that everyone is dealing with production delays, but a lot of the decisions that have been made to date do not stem from production delays. Getting it out early and letting orders come in is good and all, but I don't think it's a good thing when it comes at the expense of transparency...

Just to add to the numerous renders already in here...this is a sample I did for myself that was based off of Bibs' DSLR closeup shots of the speed forms over on The Lotus Forums. Judging from the speed forms, this colour is pretty unique in that the red drastically changes at very angle.

I think the pricing is pretty much set in stone for the V6 FE. You should wait and see how much the V6 Base will come in at before cancelling any deposits though, unless you really want a V6 FE. The GT4 is also a fantastic car and is on my list as well!

With all these calculations, I think we've pretty much nailed down the price between $104-106K. If the true competition for Lotus is the Cayman GTS, then in Canada it will come down to whether or not people think the Lotus is worth about $10K more than the Porsche. I believe both will perform...
