If only Lotus could have gotten a different sugar daddy...... The Arabs backing McLaren are not only a bottomless source of cash, they more importantly are letting McLaren be themselves. Forseven is planning on leveraging McLaren's expertise to make their other car brands better instead of...
I'm linking one of my favorite car blogs which is written buy a guy who not only owns a number of supercars but is a financial expert. He always does a great job of breaking down annual/quarterly reports to get past all of the BS. His articles on Aston Martin in particular have been amazing...
Whoa I hadn't heard of anyone with a nonrefundable deposit, are you sure that's the case? Even people paying dealer markups didn't hand over that cash until the actual delivery of the car. How much of your money are they holding?
I canceled a deposit I had with a dealer in order to get my car...
Bankruptcy or V8, which will come first........ "Investigation" is far from an official announcement stage, let alone actual production.
Hell, I'm still waiting for Lotus to deliver these babies: https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/pictures/lotus-concept-lineup-photos/
I have over 30GB of music on an SD card and each and every time I started the car it would have to index everything from scratch. While it was performing this task for roughly 5 minutes there would be nothing for me to select, just had to sit and wait until completion or go to Android Auto)...
Dealer implied very recently, but of course provided zero evidence of when.
Does anyone know how to lookup what specific software versions are installed/running?
Some good news to report on the infotainment system post software updates received at my annual service. Lotus seems to have addressed the Android Auto random disconnect issues (maybe combined w/Android Auto updates). I've only had a few drives since my dealer updated the software, but the...
I have the SD card attached to USB2 and it picks right back up without me having to do anything. Dare to dream, Lotus has finally gotten their tech up to 2010 standards!
Some good news to report on the infotainment system post software updates received at my annual service. Lotus seems to have addressed the issues associated with playing music via an SD card. It now seems to keep the previous index and more importantly you can listen to music right away (it...
Some good news to report on the infotainment system post updates. It's only been a few short drives so far, but my Android Auto wireless disconnects seem to have gone away.
Lotus also seems to have addressed the issues associated with playing music via a locally attached SD card. Previous...
My Samsung Galaxy S24 was experiencing this exact issue w/my Emira, very frustrating to say the least. I ended up using a relatively standard USB-C to USB-B cable (Anker brand) connected into the armrest storage port........zero disconnects with the tether.
I just had my annual service...
I had asked them if any campaigns were available when I dropped off the car, to which they replied they'd let me know. About an hour later I was texted there were campaigns available and they proceeded to do them (I was good with that). What I wasn't so thrilled about was the utter lack of...
I have a FE V6 manual.
Elsewhere on the paperwork is a reference to 25144 and I took that as their goofy way of putting the date Year/Day/Month since today is April 14th 2025. Applying that logic to 25143, maybe that is when the campaigns were released?
They unfortunately couldn't have been more vague about everything........
