how long until car cover goes on

Hey sorry dull question, how long do you usualy wait until you put the car cover on after driving (classic editions ultimate cover)

such a ball ache having to go inside then come out again when its dark but usualy wait 30 min

Here in the Midwest, I can usually get to mid-November before it gets covered and put on the lift for storage. Usually add some Seafoam to the gas a day before storage. Will get it down about every 4 to 5 weeks and warm it up to keep everything lubricated and put it back up to rest again till mid-March.

I only use indoor covers. Indoor Car covers are meant to protect the finish of the car, so the cover material must be softer than the paint of the car and CLEAN. I only put the cover on a just-cleaned car. Otherwise you're rubbing the dust that settles on the car into the paint. I only use the cover under the carbag while the car is in storage for the winter to avoid the bag rubbing directly on the paint.

Outdoor covers are terrible for the finish of the paint, no matter what you do as they can't keep debris from getting under them and they move around alot, scratching that debris into the paint. They also provide a nice, dark, covered space for vermin to feel safe while they build nests and chew on wires. I wouldn't use them.
