Lotus Emira V6 ECU Tune - Bench Flash

I believe that alientech can only identify/control 10ish out of the 180+ tables for the emira g6 ecu. (For now)

How many tables are you able to control using your system?

We have about 700 tables, with almost everything defined.
It’s straight from the Evora.
Lotus basically took an Evora GT calibration, sprinkled some updates on it, and put it onto a newer chip, then slapped RSA on it for protection (due to euro regs)

Voicing my encouragement for you VF!

I watch on the sidelines here, want to see some happy Emira owners from you guys. Getting stuff done will shut all the internet critics up.

It looks right but I would recommend go to the dealer in person to ensure they offer correctly. First time I tried they send the wrong thing.

That link doesn’t specify (or I can’t find it) where it shows it’s for the v6.

I can’t say for certain yet if it will need VIN programmed or not from the dealer before or after.
I ordered mine directly from the dealer with my car there and they got the exact one (after messing up first time) and it was programmed to my car.

It may have came from lotus like that so they will probably need your VIN

will likely have a friend order ecu from a random dealer but we will def provide vin.

We will then have full dynos done. And share. As tfs said, it’s probably reasonable for us guinea pigs to get some Sort of price concession , who are taking some risk to demonstrate the product on a new platform.

tune for friend’s car should have following: 7200 redline, 2.8” pulley, catless headers but 3rd cat still installed, with stock valved catback. Car also has eventuri intake.

Can you do remote tuning session to dial things in further while we are on dyno?

Once you determine pricing, pls Dm me the final amount and also let us know where to send the ecu.

remote / custom tuning is not possible yet.

If you order the ECU and send it to us we will bench flash it for free. But I will need a little time first.

Ok, understood. I’m not sure how fast these ecus will arrive from uk anyhow.
I’d rather put the order in and at least be in the queue. I don’t mind if you end up sitting on the ecu for a few weeks. No rush.

Can’t find your address tho for drop shipping, so pls either send here or via dm when convenient.

Thanks,

These following is what I need aswel with the mods I have so far on the car.

I have previously had the JUBU440, and currently the JB4 but with your ecu tune I want solely run the flash ecu tune and get rid of 3rd party devices.

The car should have the following:
7200 redline,
2.8” pulley,

I am living in a hot and humid climate especially the summers are hard: 45-50degrees C average between May and August. Currently temps are dropping to high 30s and low 40s but that comes with 85% humidity in these changeover months. November to March are the best months around 30 degrees during day and 20 around night which makes is the ideal months for car lovers.

So im giving this info that you have an idea that my Density Altitude in the summer months can be around 4000/4500ft elevation while on sea level.

Current mods are:
catless headers in ss,
Mid pipe and rest is change to titanium
3rd cat delete,
Milltek valve controller,
GRP high flow air filter,
98 fuel,

If the car runs smooth I am willing to upgrade this mod to 7400/2.6’ pulley after 1000km smooth operation.

Like @NJemira85 said, we would like some sort of discount as ‘testers’.

pls Dm me and also let us know where to send the ecu, I am this weekend in Chicago and could potentially ship it to you on Saturday.

Well you misinform people here sorry! The display does NOT show 7200rpm redline… you can rev it to 7200 but the display does not show this. I can send you a picture if you like. The display limit is not in your ecu limit but hard coded in the display
I beg your pardon? Are you saying I'm a liar?

So your display still shows 6800 with the Syvecs/JUBU 440 ecu?

Does yours show 7200??
It does not with syvecs jubu… the redline is at 7000rpm. Prove me wrong

if the redline is 'hard coded' in the display at 6800, how is it showing 7000?
It might show 7k, not 7.2, but the argument is whether it's hard coded at 6800 and non changable.

I repeat, 'So your display still shows 6800 with the Syvecs/JUBU 440 ecu???'

Im not an IT nerd and dont know to work around that, but its defo not 7200 and jubu could not change the display settings. Maybe the car itself has a max display setup at 7000 which it can show I dont know. But anything beyond that will show RED that I do know 100% as I had the jubu and it was one of the first disappointments already when I had received it which could not be fixed!

Ummm. So what does it show?

If it can’t be changed, it must show 6800, right?

I think you're right that it shows 7k, and not 7200.

I cannot check right now, as the ecu in question is back with JUBU at the moment, getting some mods, inc a cruise control functionality update, and an exhaust valve control behaviour change (it was loud in all 3 driver modes, which I didn't like), and these changes required them to open the ecu, so they needed to physically have it, rather than doing a remote session.

My point is that the engine ecu can/does change the display, and yes, 'maybe' there is some strange limit within the screen control module that means 7k is the max it can display, but the Syvecs ecu definitely 'changes' the redline display and other aspects of the driver display, it does not show a 6800rpm redline with the Syvecs ecu installed.

I wasn't particularly bothered by the display redline, as it wouldn't be the first time in my life I had pushed a tacho needle into the red on one vehicle or another. As long as the engine will do what it's supposed to, I'm happy.

I concede it would be 'nice' if the driver display graphics mirrored the actual redline, but it's not the end of the world, at least not for me.

The original statement from VF was, 'The dash will still show 6800 because that CANNOT be changed'. This is not correct, and is what I argued against.

As I said, good luck with the tune, I hope it pans out well.
