I now have 1400 miles on my I4 US spec, finally can open it up! My max torque reading is 472, HP hits 400 and stops reading higher after that though it is obviously higher, consistently just stops reading at 400 HP. Seat of the pants feels like the 472 torque is correct and feels way more than 400 HP, this from comparing with previous fast cars, 23 C8 ZO6, 20 911S and 18 911GT3. I know it is called out by Lotus at 357 torque, is the 472 torque reading real? My Emira is stock, no mods at all.

could you grab a video of what you're seeing? also is your display showing newton meters and not foot lbs...the conversion is awfully close. the display is just a calculated value. I know you're stock, but even if you got your car tuned - without updating the software - those values wouldn't change.

Some AMG owners are reporting different results (more than one). Perhaps some versions of the 2024 AMG cars have different software revisions. Perhaps Lotus really did detune the car with the latest, software update....

If the update detunes it, I don't want an update! I like it the way I bought it.

Maybe Lotus is detuning to 400Hp from ~420Hp. Then introduce an 'S' version with ~420HP -- lol

QQ.. How are you capturing the HP? Video and screen grab? I have tried to record mine but the number change to quickly. I think I need to find a clear stretch of road to see if I can get it to 400+. Is there a setting that will capture and hold the highest HP achieved?

Why would anyone believe what the display says in the first place? And "seat of the pants"? Ehhhh, I dunno about that. Just drive it and enjoy.....those performance screens are a bunch of fluff to impress a misinformed passenger, no driver would ever give em a glance.

There is no way the reading of HP is accurate. It's a gimmick. Every time I floor is no matter the environmental conditions it always reads a perfect 400hp lol. It's probably based on a table of parameters and not real time

I'm guessing it must be worked out something like that, but here's a picture of mine I posted a while back, UK car 360bhp. I've not tried to repeat this again so it
might have been a one off.

My 400hp I4 shows 480Nm and I think it was 416hp peak displayed. Not sure why there are (max displayed hp displayed) variations between cars with same setup. I think the Nm values tend to match the specs.
