Unfortunately here in NZ we don't have a dedicated Lotus workshop,all work is done by McLaren which probably explains the higher costs.At least it won't be as much as servicing a Ferrari engine, I reckon.
I came across this recently with the engine out for servicing. Looking closer inside the engine bay it was designed well enough for it to be an easy enough job.
