p0096 error on my v6 auto emira

Hey guys

So I’ve been very happy with my Emira, but lately I am getting engine reduced acceleration and engine light on, the odd reader throws p0096,

I have checked the sensor pins near the air intake manifold, they look okay, cleaned them anyway.

Could I have a bad sensor?

I did install a Larini exhaust and downpipe, could it be related to it?

If I clean the error via odb reader, it comes back on randomly. But at this stage it’s always happening. Every day I take the car for a drive

My car did that months ago, especially on warm days. I would clear the code and it would come back again randomly with reduced acceleration. When I researched postings on the web, I saw some info that a dirty airfilter can trigger that on other car brands. I decided to replace the airfilter with the GRP dry filter, and it has not happened since. It has been 3k miles since I put the new filter on.
