Having had Lotus built cars for over 23 years, a supercharged VX220 then a Lotus Exige V6 (fantastic car), but, it came time to get something more sensible (mainly due to a large operation I had).
I've had the car since August and due to said Op, I haven't tracked it yet (but will) and already have a 7 country Euro trip planned this summer.

General feeling so far, is that its good, but the steering's a bit vague compared with my previous cars and its too big and heavy, but, I'll get modding and get used to it, as it has
so many other redeeming features.

Its great to have found this site with some really interesting and knowledgeable owners and useful info.
Hopefully I'll meet some of you at some time and you can maybe explain, why so many of the tech gubbins and me, just don't get on lol.

"already have a 7 country Euro trip planned this summer" - good job! The Emira is just made for this, we have done similar trips in ours (and plan one again this summer), you'll have a great time - you'll get a lot of positive attention too. Make sure you post some pictures up here!

I also have an S1 Elise so I was expecting the steering to be less precise but I found the Emira steering to be really good though (even the i4 steering is good) - in fact probably just as good.

If not you're missing out - there's SELOC and the Lotus Drivers Club - both fairly local for you.

If you join LDC please be sure to also join their WhatsApp channels - there's a lot going on there and many events only show up on WhatsApp. For example, it's colour week this week - each day has a colour and on that day everyone posts pictures of their matching cars, some nice looking orange cars for today. I think a lot of LDC members miss these channels which is a shame.
