Lotus emira 2025 all key lost

That’s not a question for the forum , I guess pretty obvious call to the dealer even if they are far away your location

I’m
automotive locksmith based in Egypt.
I have a Lotus Emira 2025 with all keys lost.
There’s no official dealer or local support here, and I couldn’t find any device that can program the key for this model.
I’ve already checked tools like Autel IM508/IM608, VVDI, and S-Diag, but none of them list the Emira in their database.
If anyone has successfully programmed a key for the Lotus Emira or knows which tool can handle it, please share your experience

Where did you get your car? The seller should have a contact to a dealer. Also try to call up
Ezz Elarab Automotive Group
  • They are the exclusive importer and distributor for Lotus in Egypt.
  • They have announced a new facility in Cairo for showroom + service centre dedicated to Lotus.

"I know that, but I want to program it — that’s why I asked here for help."

Why wouldn’t someone want to go to a dealer to get the answer to this question?:oops:

Not sure thats the reason, although it could be.
I think he is saying he wants to be able to fix the issue, rather than have the dealer do it and could we help him achieve this.
Even if this is legit, I doubt anyone that does know how, would post it on an open forum and given the newness of the OP, I doubt anyone that does know, is going to tell him, without some way of validating who he is

We don't facilitate criminal activity here. If you're legitimately the owner, seek support from the dealer. Otherwise, consider returning the stolen car.
I mean, certainly not *low brow* criminal behavior. If you have anything a bit sexier, feel free to dm Porter..

We are nothing without standards

I'm a licensed car key maker (automotive locksmith) and the car owner lost all the keys. He actually contacted the dealer and they asked him an excessive amount because the dealer said they couldn't make him a key and that they'd have to replace the immobilizer and control unit (ECU) with keyed components — so the owner turned to me

Just pointing out - the keys for my Emira came in a plastic packaging that included a bar code and identification number. It was specifically pointed out that this number was to be used in contacting Lotus for replacement keys in the event of damage or loss. You may want to contact Lotus customer care, and relay that number, they should be able to replace the key(s).

Ah, the guy you spoke to stole that car!

The owner don't have this data

Lotus Customer Care (UK) can assist, and will give the local dealer explicit instructions to assist. They will already have the customer's information in their system, because every one of these cars were special ordered for individual customers.

There is no need to replace the ECU of the car in order to program new keys. Though I will ask since it's borderline inconceivable: what did your customer do with BOTH car keys?
