Is there a way to shuffle songs on my USB stick?

In my Emira I play music mp3's from a USB stick. However, the car's media player doesn't seem to have a "shuffle" option to randomly choose the next song to play. Or I can't find it.... The Owner's Manual does not mention any. If there is one, I'd appreciate anyone pointing me to it, thanks.

Which port do you plug it in? Or does it matter?

Doesn't matter. I'm referring to the car's "Media" player using either of the two USB ports.

Thank you, you taught me something and gave me an idea. I'm stymied at having lost my music collection after Apple did away with itunes and I am having a bear of time migrating it to the new "music" app. Now I can get things at least off a stick and in the car.

I know of no way to “shuffle” the songs on a USB stick. The Emira does the basics only and lacks software for such a task. I’ve also got my song library on a USB and so far, my Emira is playing them alphabetically. You can ask that certain gendres of songs play (rock, country, etc.), but that’s it.
