Yes, I want a little more but I dont want to do anything that costs thousands of dollars and voids the warranty. I have the third cat delete which of course improved the sound, but I havent noticed much power difference nor did I expect to. Any suggestions on the best ways to increase performance without breaking the bank would be much appreciated!

Driver mods -- learn to drive the car quickly in a performance setting if you haven't already. A handful of autox and track days will cost you not that much money and make more of a difference than any mods you can bolt on.

You're asking for something quite impossible. Adding power will void the warranty, really no way to avoid that, so you have to look elsewhere.

Spend the money on a few track days and learn how to use the performance you've got.

Alignment, tires, and suspension are all ways you can go faster without major warranty implications. It just won't show up in an acceleration number, but you can carry more speed through a corner via improved grip and feel assuming you already have the driver training to utilize it

Warranty question notwithstanding, what you are looking for is the JB4 Map2 experience.
A month ago I received the JB4 for My Lotus Emira 3.5SC and I have had several problems from turning on the Check Engine, problems connecting the module with the Iphone cell phone to limitations of the engine falling the ECU in LimpMode. With the JB4 Truly the push is only felt a little in High Revolutions in map 2, not starting if it is what you really expect.

I would recommend checking all your connections to make sure nothing is disconnected or loose and if everything looks right, you might consider reaching out to @Terry at Burger for help. I have had zero issues running exclusively in Map2 for several months now.

If you are just looking for acceleration you need to add power or reduce weight. Any type of modification can void some part of your warranty. Stripping your interior, lithium battery and new wheels would probably be the biggest without breaking powertrain warranty.

There really is no inexpensive way to increase performance without spending at least 4 figures. Depends on your budget. Weight reduction helps, but the results are mild relative to the few things you can do without getting radical. Lighter battery is the easiest way to lose 30+ pounds, and the cost is under $1k. Next is lighter wheels, but expect to spend $2k-3K.

Actually, the one mod I did where I could immediately tell a difference was the Eventuri cold air intake. It's not cheap at $1,545 but I gained a solid 15 hp and a torque increase I could feel. I've had zero problems with it after well over a year. The JB4 will make a difference, and that's actually under $1k. Map 1 is a nice improvement but not dramatic. Map 2 however is a different story. If you have 93 octane gas (a top tier brand like Shell, Chevron, etc. not a cheapo brand) then the JB4 on Map 2 is great.

The Eventuri and JB4 are easy to install, and relatively mild as far as performance mods go, but Lotus would probably void the warranty if there are engine problems. However, they can be uninstalled. The JB4 can be disabled with the cell phone app, to see if it's causing whatever problem you might be experiencing.

Serious weight reduction and/or power mods are going to cost thousands, that's just the way it is.

in very non-finger-wagging way: yeah JB4 (you have V6 right?) is your easiest cheapest path to meaningful power...until a company offers an OBD2 way to unlock/flash your ECU (probably a while away but who knows). Just be very clear there is no skirting warranty claims after doing whatever to your car, each scenario is based on your relationship with your dealer and what exactly you modded, and what your dealer is willing to hide from Lotus to go through the warranty work. The worst case scenario is catastrophic engine and transmission failure...I'm talking things blowing up and breaking through the engine case, gears pulverized into powder...etc. You taking off your JB4 and limping it to the dealer and then you shrugging and going "I don't know I was just driving to the grocery and it blew up??" that isn't going to fly lol. So yeah there is driver training, tires, etc. the easy stuff. JB4, tunes, etc. sure you could technically remove them? I don't think most of those things would pass a thorough investigation for a cost to Lotus that is in the tens of thousands. A healthy approach is just be prepared for the worst (event and cost) and you're probably going to be ok -

Find more windy roads than straights or on a track, then the car fill feel fast AF compared to others.
And if that's not enough, the adding the cliff suggestion earlier to that route works 🤣.

In all seriousness, you got the wrong car if you want to go fast on the street and freeway.
Or if you want more power sooner in the band rather than a build up.... then i4 or some EV will be better suited for that rush feeling.
I've never felt mine was "faster" than a golf just riding around town, but moment I hit a canyon or track.... yeah the speed matches the looks; grips for days.

I think some thing is wrong with your unit.

Today we installed with my mechanic the JB4 on a V6 auto. It connected via Bluetooth right away 👍

We went with OBD (cable) connection, downloaded latest firmware and did a 3rd cat pipe delete at the same time. Exhaust sound in Sports mode is now mean using Map2. Waiting to test drive the car but I have the feeling that it will be “just right” in terms of power and sound. No errors on dashboard 👌

I wonder if the JB4 will work correctly with the 3rd cat delete after it has run for a few days and tuned itself? 🤔

It will work fine right away.

Drove the V6 at Hethel, with a coach from Lotus, you can not explore the limits of the car on the street with any modicum of safety for yourself and others. Get on a track drive it, then let the instructor drive it, the car is so much more capable than the vast majority of the drivers out there.

The Emira is an interesting animal. I tracked my Elise quite a lot, and I think I got close to the limits of the car. At the edge, the Elise is a frantic, darty handful which gives you very little time to react to slides with a firm suspension. In comparison, I'm doing faster laps in the Emira, without a harness (meaning I have to have a death grip on steering wheel), and I'm relaxed doing it, because the car feels so much predictable! When I had slicks on the Elise, I managed a 1:38.9 at Laguna Seca, which is pretty damn fast. So far, best I've done in the Emira is 1:41 at that track, but that's with worse tires and no harness. At a couple of other local tracks, the Emira was faster than my Elise during my younger, best Elise driving years.

It's a wonderful car.
