Car Week Dates: Friday, August 7, 2026 - Sunday, August 17, 2026

Hey everyone! Let me know if you headed to Car Week this year! I'm lucky enough to be local to the Carmel area. I'm open to organize a quick drive or a meetup at a local coffee shop.

P.S. For my international and traveling owners/enthusiasts - please also feel free to join! You don't need your Emira here to participate.

I'm on the fence about going this year...i'll be in the Pacific Grove area the weekend of 8/2 - 8/3 already for a family function (in the Emira!) but not sure if i'm gonna drive down again for car week which is right after lol. Not too far of a drive for me from the Bay Area even factoring in car week traffic, so if it happens i'll drop you a note...hopefully an Emira convoy does materialize for you as that would be super fun to see either in person or in all the car week videos that get posted to YT after.

How bad is traffic during car week. I might be down. My car has been garaged for too long.

I will be there with SSRG Rally group. We will be doing drives going and around the area.

I will be there from 13th through 16th. Last year I happen to stay at the same hotel as the corporate guys from Lotus by coincidence. I started the conversation with couple of them as I parked my Emira next to theirs.

I will be there, 13m 14m 15, but not with the Emira.

I got an email from Golden Gate Lotus Club for Monterey Car week. Just incase you are members or plan to join there are these events.
GGLC at Monterey Car Week
Car week is coming up quickly and we have organized three of GGLC events. They are a lunch at a members home near Laguna Seca on Friday 8/14, convoy and participation at The Paddock Monterey" event on 8/14 and a social event in Carmel on 8/15.

I'm local, will be down at some point during the week but havn't settled my schedule yet -- guess I should check in with GGLC! (I used to autocross with GGLC before I got the Lotus, have to renew acquaintences now

)

I took my Emira last year to Monterey, but this year I am back in my E-type. I was fortunate that the Jag got selected for display at Motorlux, so I got complimentary tickets. Coincidentally, Lotus brought 3 Emiras to display there, as well as the Evija, and I got to talk to some corporate people who asked about my ownership experience. I also joined the Monterey BCR (Breakfast Club Rally) and a yellow Emira was in the group. I didn’t get a chance to introduce myself as a fellow Emira owner, though.
