My car will come up to three years mid-2026, and has yet to have a full service — being on an island (Tasmania) with no dealers makes it problematic.

Before the warranty runs out I’d like to get a mechanic to give it the thumbs up, and will likely have to pay for their “research” time. I’m thinking the local Lexus dealer may be the best (and most expensive) option, as they’d be familiar with the 2GR-FE.

Is there a definitive “must check” list I could give them? This would certainly cut down time, and make me feel a lot more confident with ownership going forward. (Manual V6 First Edition, magma red.)

Depending on how many km you have put on, there really isn’t much to go wrong mechanically.
Most issues are software related or paint bubbling on the doors ( which you should be able to see).
3 years and no service indicates you don’t drive much or if you do , why hasn’t it been serviced. These are yearly for reliability and warranty claims.

I’ve done about 1000kms. It’s had one oil change and software updates on Nov 2024.

Paint seems good, a pleasure to drive (when I do). I noticed yesterday that the brakes aren’t as grabby as they used to be. Perhaps replace the brake fluid?

Good idea to change brake fluid every couple of years (every second service)
