Had an amazing opportunity for some private track time at Circuit of the Americas last week. A fellow club member is also an Emira owner as well (Ryan, not sure if you're on here!)

First time back on COTA after about a year. Previous was in my 991.2 GTS, but did most of my time "working" through the HPDE's to get solo'd in my Cayman T.

It was fun - I am touring and stock tires, so they had a small window before they felt greasy. It was difficult finding my braking zones at the long straights at COTA (about 141mph or so into T12), but other wise the car was great. Sadly, I don't have the confidence that I won't break anything in this car like i did in my Porsche products, so a few hours was great to get my feet wet and a feel for what the car can do. Did not time any laps, but was a generally enjoyable experience! Only got about 15-20 laps total in a 2 hour window. Wanted to make sure I knew what the car smelled like getting that hot and generally treated it more as a "what's this thing like on the track" as opposed to a "lets dial it in and bring down the lap times" if that makes sense.

Edit: posted weird.
