I searched and couldn't find anything. I don't drive aggressive, I do not launch the car, and I shift pretty slowly. Yet....

When shifting tonight when I get 1/2 way to engaging the clutch from. Stop or while moving I FEEL a scraping / grinding of some kind (doesn't matter what gear)

Any thoughts? Is this a big issue? Should I not drive it until it's looked at? Nearest dealership is 2 hrs away.

Thanks for any help

I had an issue where the clutch would feel gritty on return and sometimes only return half way up and I would have to pull the pedal back up with my foot. It turned out that I had a leaking fitting in the clutch line and it was actually dripping fluid. So you could be feeling the effects of low pressure in the clutch line.

It could also be one of a half dozen other things ranging from debris in a aliding or rotating coupling somewhere between the pedal and slave cylinder to water in your clutch/brake fluid.
