Randomly, when I open the driver's door right after unlocking the car, I can hear a "boom" sound coming from somewhere between the door handle and the side vent area. I can't really tell precisely. It's like some pressurized air gets released when opening the door (??), but feels not right.
Unfortunately it's very hard to record, since it only happens sporadically and I should be recording each and every time I open the door.
Did this happen to you?

Mine isn't mechanical like you are suggesting, mine is just the car's electrical system (probably can-bus) waking up and sending a zing through the subwoofer - I have a JL Audio sub so it's quite boomy and doesn't happen all the time. Lotus.

Boom or a Pop?
I have a random pop (like a speaker pop) in the car which I can't chase down.

My passenger one does an audible click the first time it is opened after sitting. I was told it has to do with the roller that rolls the window down and it will get better with time. I kind of agree with it as after the first opening it does get better.

just happened this morning - like @iatros it sounds like (and was obvious this morning) its the speaker(s) behind the seats. Happens very rarely..

Had this once but it was due to something weird like opening the door during the start sequence…the pop was so loud and sharp that I thought I had broken the window!

Yes its a speaker pop. But oddly I dont mind it and even kind of like it.. Because, I just have such a dopamine connection with getting into this car, that its become an association with pleasure.

I've now had this car for two years, and coming from porsche, and with some exhaust mods and JB4, its euphoric as fuck.
