My Specs:
Emira V6
Hi all, hoping someone might have an idea because I am honestly losing my mind.

My 22 Emira 3.5 V6 is fully up to date with software as of about a month ago.

This week I have been woken up most nights at random times 1am 3am 4am 5am by the alarm going off. Unlocking and locking the car makes no difference. The only thing that seemed to stop it was leaving the car unlocked.

Thinking the battery might be the issue as it is three years old, I replaced it today. Unfortunately the alarm has just gone off again.

I have also noticed that the audible lock confirmation sound no longer plays when locking the car.

I would really appreciate any advice. It is now 7.30pm and I desperately need a good nights sleep, as do my neighbours.

Thanks in advance.

I've noticed that sometimes my Emira changes some settings options on its own at times (though this has happened less frequently with more software updates).

It's probably worth going into the settings menu to see if this has happened to you.

I've had a couple of random alarm incidents myself, and ticking the Reduced Alarm Level setting (for the interior of the car) seems to have helped.

slammed all doors, scanned with obd didn’t find any faults. I’ve had the software updates last month

Recent chain of events with telematics errors and cold weather alarms led me to believe that the battery being 3+ years was at fault.

The new battery immediate alarm could have been a fault/rebaseline alarm and I haven’t had one for now 2hrs and the car is locked.

Hopefully I can get through the night and report back in a few days that it’s remediated and hopefully the beep on lock comes back - I hear it gets removed when there is a voltage fault.

How’s the rear hatch? Closing fully? When I got my Emira the rear hatch wasn’t fully closeing and it would set off the alarm in the late hours of the morning. I could tell as when the hatch isn’t fully closed, the tail lights turn on
