Hi guys
I was thinking, given how the new seats of the lotus emira are built, will it be possible to install a 4-point harness to have fun on the track with maximum safety?
it seems impossible because there are no spaces in the seats .......

I tried an idea and it worked. No magical tools, just a standard T-50 torx. The manual implies that the seat belt anchor bolts can be removed BEFORE removing the seats, but that is so untrue. However, I found that you can just tilt the seat forward INSIDE THE CAR to access the seat belt anchor bolts.

Two in the front, two in the back. (47Nm)

Make sure the seat is at the front of the rails (should already be this way when removing the rear bolts), and tilt. Easy peasy!

Outside. (45Nm)

Make sure to protect the center console on the inside. (45Nm)

Reattach the seat to the floor, and all done!
Am I missing something or is your car RHD?

Order error. I thought I had ordered both sides, but for some crazy reason only placed an order for one, and it had to be the left 🙄. Currently awaiting shipment of the driver side...

We have outfitted numerous cars already!
Shoot us an email if you have any questions.
We have harness bars and harnesses in stock ready to rock.

For those who have installed the 4pt harness on stock seats, how do you deal with the headrest literally pushing your head forward when wearing a helmet? Would be good if the headrest padding was a velcro snap-on similar to the GT3RS

I don’t have a problem with the helmet pushing my head forward.

Great post.

But how are the top belts fitted,do you have a harness bar/cage behind the seats, like the GRP solution?

Yes, no problems. Have you sat in one with a harness bar with 4 points. I’m in New York if you want to try it out
Haven't sat in stock seats with a harness but even without a harness, I have to recline the seat back a bit to avoid my neck being pushed out with a helmet. Not an issue with tillets. Thanks for the offer but I'm on the other side of the world in Sydney

Just about to order some Schroth 4pt ASM FE harnesses for the Emira, however I've seen a difference in 2 variations for the eye bolt/snap in tab.

Which harness is correct for thr Emira:
Schroth Profi II ASM FE 4pt Harness

OR

Schroth Lotus II-FE ASM 4 Point harness

Much appreciated

Seems like the lotus one has a specific bolt design for the lap belts

Both of these eyelets will attach to the OEM Emira seats. Not sure about the actual Schroth product model numbers, though.
