Thanks, this is actually helpful. Because the Emira doesn't have a fraction of the crazy options that Porsche configurator has, I would not be too worried about not speccing it myself. I do like the HY better than other colors. So I'm thinking about rolling the dice.

Clearplex on my 911 T since April of this year. Has saved me a few times. No noticeable distortion but I am not as OCD as some folks in rennlist. No scratches. I can see it lasting 2y easily. If your car will see highways often, I think it can save you from many headaches.

That's the attitude. Get it painted properly and ensure dealer does not use their insurance so it doesn't show on carfax. Get a couple of years of service or something in return. Enjoy the car. You will forget it got repainted in 15 days. Don't go down the victim route and suffering the process.

I pass the time waiting for the 911T to come out of US customs jail from the VW China part issue. Seems the car will be released this or next week! I ordered it in September 23 (18m after the Emira) and may get it mid March I guess, probably 12m - 18m before the Emira (I'm in the Base queue). 😀...

Well, the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence! My 911T was well on its way for a mid Feb delivery in NorCal, currently just past the Panama Canal. It seems all 911s will be held at port until March-April while the replace some chip in the ECU... Pic attached of similar spec.
