I have a 718 Boxster T. That and the Cayman T were the best sweet spots for style and performance and price. They got rid of them for Style models. They are kind of cool, kind of lame, in that they took away the T models for that. The GTS 4.0L has not been a reasonable purchase since 2023...
I recommend, for a light nice build the following to be added:
extended fuel tank
clear tail lights
The clear tail lights will match the front lights and side markers. No red visible. If you can afford that bump, it will look cool.
extended fuel tank I am loving. i was on the fence about...
if you are in the UK, this really has no bearing on USA experience. We wont see a build slot here unless you were one of those people ordering it august when it was hardly announced.
I wish there was a UK and a USA forum split. There is no one getting these cars who ordered them in say...
lotus can be your only car. it is the only sports car, true one, that is meant for crappy roads and environment, as well as built with edelbrock supercharger and a toyota engine and gearbox. An unusually tall clearance for snow. A super sticky suspension and flexible Lotus style as well...
they really should NOT increase prices overall. The new, non-FE editions will have inflated prices as it is, all of that al la carte extra cost for the same product.
I wonder how long the 911 T will be available. IF this emira thing falls through, I would want to order a T. I would get a fast allocation as well as I just bought a severely optioned Boxster T from the sales guy.
I have ultra optioned Porsche 718 Boxster T, carbon fiber seats, full interior package, guards red, Burmester stereo, and that thing is a work of art, no joke. to drive and to look at and to touch.
718 Spyder is not at all common.
i also am firm in my belief that they are the most beautiful production car in modern times. In person, with some of the right options, not cheaped out, it is just gorgeous x200. I was shocked. I sooo want one. well, i cant justify it as i have a brand new...
youll have to make a lot of decisions by the time your car comes.
1. end of life decisions - DNR etc
2. estate planning
3. preparation for the US tri-centennial
4. Armageddon
i have no idea what those wheels are. None. Never seen them before. (i have a porsche and look up a lot of older types. those are one of a kind. Fitment website forgot the name of it, would know the wheels. Very interesting! must be freakin SOOO much fun.
All porsches have sound deadening and are built like tanks too. I mean, it has less, sure. Lightweight glass, hm. Ask a salesperson but i think maybe the lightweight glass is MORE sound deadening. not sure if it is that laminate stuff? I know the sound deadening option on the 911 regular...
it can have that 718 T package for certain. that's the key to the T's, that interior package is great value and makes the look.

this has everything that if you get it, youll see how pretty and functional it is. I added some not well known to this forum...
being a Porsche buyer, one has to think only like this:
1. the base car is uglier than a well optioned Corolla inside. It is not meant to be purchased.
2. dont be a cheap F***
3. Porsche can possibly reject a bare bones order. They got tired of crap looking non representative of their brand...
i cannot see a reason to pay even 80% of what MSRP was on a sports car. The person that had no sense to sell a car so new also probably drove it cold at 100 mph out of the dealership with 20 miles on it, no break in etc.
bros who flip are morons. bros drive like morons. why buy a car from a...
nah not noisy at all. if it has a "sound aktuator" Porsche thing, rip it out first day. Overall the 911's have good sound deadening. It would be a sweet commuter car. Lots of low end grunt for traffic too going slow. I mean it will have some extra noise if it has no back seats which are good...
Well. The 718 T series is supposed to be style + driving dynamics + quality. If you specc'd it minimally interior wise, did not up up up the interior package and stuff, didnt get carbon fiber seats, while yes, it is a wonderful car still, you missed the extra jump of how it is. My...
911T needs to be with rear axle steering option. interior upgrade option as well. the 911T needs a few things to consider getting one.

This is a $125k build (US dollars). I just bought a 2023 718 Boxster T. I am like the T master currently. It would...
Porsche SUV's are just Volkswagens with better quality control and design. They are really nice but, still no porsche motor system
718, 911, these are true porsche's mechanically. Dakar would rip in adverse conditions.
I would never buy a used GT4 unless i knew the person well.
break-in could be devasting on those screaming engines if you are a typical bro moron who flips your car
I am not going to read the comments as i have work to do and crap and have no time to, but here is the answer:
20 kg is the strength of the net in a crash.
just get a stronger net. The car will be $100k when all is said and done at least. Get someone to make you as nicer net.
20k dispersed...
Emira's seats are meant for chunky people. I did not like them at all. I swam in them. They are a clear 1 inch wider in their bolster span than they ever should be. Porsche sports seats plus are not cramped but hold well. I also own the Full Bucket Seats from Porsche. They are pricey but...
718 GTS was made for all the overweight slightly younger boomers who complained about the 2.5 GTS 718. Imagine wanting a heavier, less balanced, less purposeful motor that is slower, just so that it could sound like the previous generation? The 4.0 GTS is a great vehicle. The 2.0 and 2.5 are...
