Emira JB4 Tuning Now Available for I4 & V6 Cars!

V6 manual or auto? What intake and exhaust mods have you done? It seems like so far most of the people running JB4 successfully are doing so in conjunction with 3rd cat delete and either cold air intake or non-stock high flow air filter. The JB4 was developed on a car with these mods. Is anyone...

Emira JB4 Tuning Now Available for I4 & V6 Cars!

I offered my V6 auto up for testing to Burger but was told they are too busy to do it. I decided to just go ahead and order a JB4 anyway and will install it when I get it and report back on any issues I encounter.

The definitive Hawk Brake Pad guide, with Low dust option

My OEM pads squealed just as you described. When I initially installed the Hawk pads, I ignored the included grease and installed them dry. The fronts squealed pretty bad then too. I took them back out and put the thinnest layer of the included grease on the backs of the front pads and the...

Key is locked in the car

According to the manual, it is in the center console as Eagle7 stated. Are you getting the "Key not in car" message? If not, you might have something preventing the car from starting not related to the key detection.

Fuse Box Cover/Passenger Footwell Kickplate Removal?

It hooks under a lip at the bottom, and the carpet in front of the bottom kinda pushes against it and makes it tough to get out. Start with trying to pull out a bit on the top and get that free first. Push down on the carpet at the bottom in front of it when trying to work the bottom out by...

Cars and Coffee events in So Cal

There are 4 Orange County C&C events that I know of this Saturday: The South Orange County C&C at the San Clemente outlets mentioned earlier in this thread. This is a very large weekly gathering. When I suggested 7:30 it’s because I was mapping from my house, which is further north. I’m fine with whatever makes sense. We should leave a little extra time to gas up in Carlsbad.

So where and when do you all want to meet up for the drive to Carlsbad? I’m thinking 7:30 am somewhere in south county off the 5 since that would be on the way for everyone and we are probably all spread out around OC (I’m near the 55 and Katella).

    Radar Detectors?

I use a Uniden R8 with a wiretap to the connection for the USB port in the mirror housing and a Stealth Mount to hang the detector. The nice thing about Stealth Mount is that you can easily pop the detector out if you don't want it left in plain sight while you are away or want to swap it...
