I really can't believe that a dealer would drill holes into the front of a $100k car if the customer was adamant from the beginning that they don't want it on there........there are ways they could temporarily mount the front plate to have it be legal when sold to the customer without drilling...

Sorry for the ignorance on this. I put my deposit down a few weeks ago. Is the phone call to verify that you have an actual car reserved and can configure it? Or maybe a better way to word it is that dealers are finally finding out what their actual allocation is going to be?
