Thanks Tom and good idea. They appear to have had an influx of spam / junk sent to them and are sifting through these. The chap also seemed to indicate only one person does refunds ! No rush for the £5k I’m pleased to say but should be a little more efficient. I’ll probably get a check out email...

Spoke to customer care they asked for credit card expiry date and I gave them the reservation ID. Sounds like some chaos with spam emails flooding the system.. I’m expecting it to take a week or two… good thing I don’t need funds for my other car

Did you get your refunds back in good time? I’m at the same stage, have the protect and enhance email but have gone for another car now. Hopefully lotus will refund without too many calls or chase ups

Not sure why comparisons with a 14 year old Elise vs Emira are relevant or with a Ferrari. Good luck with it, lovely cars but the service costs and repair bills can be eye watering. In 3 months I’ll have my beauty and will share the adventures and fun. Snowdon, Le Mans, Monaco and Salamanca...

Yes I agree I have a Stop Lock Pro Elite I use on my rs5 and should also be fine for the Emira.

I think it will be a peach. I’ve driven an Evora auto and it’s a great experience and for everyday use the better option. I’m a 14/7/21 deposit and have a June 23 build so sadly stung by the price increase

I’m neutral on whether to PPF and/or ceramic. I’ve got the full black pack so will definitely try the roof and arches done to protect from scratches. Think Harry isn’t a fan but welcome views on positives and any negatives.

Excellent news ! I tested an Evora 410 auto and that sold it for me. So you could have 2 Emiras then if they take the Evora?! When I saw and sat in an Emira last May in London that was it. Look forward to seeing some pics if the deal goes through.

Totally agree, the positivity of 2021 and in some of 2022 was great. I’m new to lotus but am still pressing ahead and believe the early build issues will be resolved. It’s a new production line, part hand assembled, bespoke motor car and step change for Lotus after all. Look forward to sharing...

June build and can’t wait ! Pricing is still ok and I’m not buying an Emira to flip it or as an investment proposition. Enjoy the ride and pleased to see the positive posts coming back into the forum from lucky owners
