    Clutch slave bleeding tips

Worked out great. Definitely easier reaching the clutch slave bleed nipple from above rather than from below

    Ppf full body

$5500 for full body XPEL 10 mil then ceramic coated on top. Compared to other places that were not going to cover some of the black parts (vents, diffuser, etc), the place I ended up at covered everything and did a very meticulous job. I’m glad I did the entire car just so I don’t need to worry...

    Clutch slave bleeding tips

I’ve been trying to find info on bleeding the clutch slave cylinder (since I was going to bleed my brakes) and the only information I could find was about accessing the bleed valve from below the car. This requires doing it “blind” or by feel since you cannot see the bleed valve directly from...

Removing factory seat and installing Tillet B10-tips and tricks

Thanks @Porter ! Not having pads wasn’t bad at first, but any drive more than 60 min started to get irritating with the bony parts of my shoulder blades hurting. Nothing terrible, but definitely noticeable. Fortunately, my set of pads from Tillet arrived last night and they are SO WORTH IT...

Removing factory seat and installing Tillet B10-tips and tricks

I only did the drivers side. I don’t know if GRP ever found a solution for the passenger seat. I think the complexity is that the passenger seat airbag has an extra sensor to detect if someone is sitting in the seat (if so, the airbag is active). @GRP might want to chime in on this.

Removing factory seat and installing Tillet B10-tips and tricks

Thanks @Steve Tillett ! 35mm may be perfect but my local hardware store only had 40mm or 50mm. Since the 50mm fit, I just went with them. Sorry to bump your place in line for pads. If it helps, I’m in no huge rush to get pads so feel free to get yours before me (if there is a logistical way to...

Removing factory seat and installing Tillet B10-tips and tricks

Hi folks. Just replaced my drivers seat with a Tillet B10 from Greg’s Race Parts and I love the lower seating position and better ergonomics of the Tillet. Some have asked for details of the install so I thought I would share them here. Factory seat removal: Slide the seat back far enough to...

    Tillet B10 installed

@SONOFEMERY I’m a slim guy (5’8”, 140 lbs) so definitely the xl was too large for me (not enough lateral support). I was worried that even the regular B10 might be too wide, but it actually fits perfectly.

    Tillet B10 installed

@Blackthought_ correct, I did not get the passenger seat. While it would be nice to have a matching set, I don’t have passengers in my car often enough to justify the expense (and around town, any passengers would likely prefer the factory/cushy seat)

    Tillet B10 installed

Just installed a Tillet B10 seat and could not be happier. Made a trip to Greg’s Raceparts in Reno (3 1/2 hour drive from the San Francisco Bay Area) so I could test out the fit of the seat before buying one. Shout out to Greg for being super helpful and accommodating. He met me extra early and...
