Could be unrelated, but when I first got my car, I was getting check engine lights off and on for about the first 1000 miles. I think it was the battery after sitting in shipping/storage, because I have not seen it since and have been driving the car at least weekly to keep the battery charged.

Hi All -- I just received my lowering kit and 12MM spacers from GRP. Does anyone have feedback to offer on their setup with these parts? Specifically, how low did you go and any rubbing or other issues with scraping, etc.?

Agreed and to clairify; I never floor it when cold, just pointing out that in a car that settles out at about 195-200 degrees, 170 isn't cold and theres a difference at 170 between stock and with the cat delete and exhaust in open mode.

I installed the 3rd Cat Delete and exhaust controller. Have noticed that the car now stuggles just ever so slightly to start when its cold out. Not really a big deal. This said, it also doesn't like to run full throttle until the engine temp reaches about 170 degrees. Again, no big deal, but...

Yes, mine has the same issue. It is currently being addressed as we speak (today) at Lotus of Dallas. I will post an update after I pick the car up today with the cause and correction.

No, its not obnoxious. It's definitely louder, deeper, throatier, but only starts to scream if you put your foot all the way down and mostly after 4k revs. It definitely doesn't sound like a toyota engine anymore though, even at idle (a good thing).

I bought mine from Greg's Race Parts, quick shipping, even included a couple of dum dum suckers in the box for me (a nice touch).

I don't know that it adds more power or not, but it certainly feels like it does (could be the extra noise). Either way, it was worth the price of admission. The car sounds like a proper exotic car now.

Just installed Grp decat pipe and milltek valve controller. Wow, what a difference. This is a "must" mod for those of you wanting more grunt from your car. It is definitely much louder/better.

I called the dealer and they said that they have seen a few of these Check Engine Light issues already and if the car is running ok (which it is) that they have just had to reset it. Sounds like something that may have been caused by the software update that was applied as part of the PDI...
