Yep. Hear it outside too, louder than inside. I'm at about 800 miles in. 200 more miles and I'm going to get it fixed.

The fluid reservoir/pump for the i4 is near the front wipers according to the manual. The v6 fluid reservoir is in the back. I haven’t noticed the sound outside. Will check in a couple of days and update.

They’re not completely wrong. I4 has a electro-hydraulic steering and V6 has a hydraulic steering. I’m waiting to get my first 1000 miles in so I can get this fixed along with an oil change. I have an i4 too and this sound is annoying if I’m not listening to music.

Did you hear any response? I'm about to pick up an i4 tomorrow, and I heard a very similar noise a few days back and asked the dealership to fix it before delivery. Service personal responded with nothing is wrong, and we don't hear it anymore after lifting it - which I highly doubt.
